Damn, I hope the Jays are just being over cautious.

Yankees lose, Rays lose, Sox lose, Orioles win. Jays lead is still 4.5 games.

Great to see those other teams drop a game. I'm perfectly content battling Baltimore for the division if that's what it comes down to. It's the magic of the Yankees/Sox that scares me if we end up in a must win series late in the season. Bring on the OriLOLes.

Looks like EE's back soreness isn't a big deal. Gibbons was saying that it was already feeling better today.

I have the day off and there is an afternoon ball game!

Happ vs Verlander today.

Seriously, Gose would be better off sometimes just bunting and moving runners along. He's like an offensive black hole at times. I bet a bunt there would have caught the Tigers off guard.

Completely agree.

If he could figure out how to hit, which it doesn't seem like he ever will, he would be a starting CF.

As much as I like his speed and his arm from CF I am looking forward to having Rasmus back.

Wow, the Jays have a catcher that can throw runners out at 2nd? Not used to that having JPA for so long.

If he could figure out his bat he'd be an all-star. You'd be in tough to find a better fielding CF in the league right now.

Reyes swung at a strike 3. That makes me happy, better than just staring at it.

If Gose hits over .240, I think his defense is good enough to be a semi regular in the league.

At work right now so didn't see how this happened but:

I can see: Andrew Romine grounds out, third baseman Juan Francisco to second baseman Brett Lawruie. Avila to 3rd and Castellanos to 2nd.

Why did he go to 2nd?

They are lucky they got out of that one with only giving up 1 run.
