Offensively yes he does look to be on Crosby's level.
It will be interesting to see how well the other parts of his game develop as that is an area Crosby is often underrated in. One of things that had Crosby destroy the Crosby-AO debate was his effort he put into his defensive game and especially FO's.
I think reports are that he is defensively sound, his speed plays a large role but he also doesn't quit.
Interesting, from what I can gather from google translate, Oliver Kylington has been loaned to the lower league in Sweden because he asked GM Hakan Loob for it to get more ice time.
No change at the top with the electrifying Connor McDavid holding down the number one spot and Jack Eichel breathing down his neck. The productivity is astounding for Connor McDavid but the accomplishments of Jack Eichel are no less impressive.
Dylan Strome continues to shine in the shadow of his illustrious teammate in Erie. His game is one of all situations, all areas of the game and important contributions throughout. Mitchell Marner a dynamic winger with the London Knights, is burning out the red lights around the OHL. In five games during November, Marner has garnered nine goals and seven assists. A very gifted offensive player, Marner can shoot to thrill or set up a teammate for their own thrill. Dangerous and constantly probing for weakness, he is quick to see opportunity and to take advantage. Outstanding puck handling abilities and a keen sense of where to attack and exploit the opposition allows him to be a constant threat.
Ivan Provorov, defenseman with the Brandon Wheat Kings has landed in the top ten. A smart, calm, good skating defenseman who has shown a remarkable ability to shoulder significant responsibility in the defensive and offensive zones. On a very good Wheat Kings team, Provorov has proven to be a significant contributor to the success of the team. Rounding out the top ten is Kyle Connor of the Youngstown Phantoms of the USHL. He becomes the fourth US born player to be in the top ten this month. Connor is a player who makes opponents leery when he’s on the ice because of his speed, quickness, smarts and creativity and because of his abilities and a determination to match, he’s highly productive.
Unlike the Sabres and Canes the Oilers are unlikely to go all out to suck. In fact they may be dumb enough to make short term moves to try and do something this year.
Unless they win the lottery I doubt they end up bottom of the league and likely not even bottom 5, but when it comes to sucking you can never count the Oulers out.
I find it interesting to see Colorado snuggled comfortably near the bottom of the standings. Where did we see this before? They are right there neck to neck sucking with the oilers.

Wow he beat the crap out of the other guy. Good for him I suppose, but with a broken hand he'll probably be out a month at least, which means he should be back in time for World Juniors.
Dude when it comes to the Canucks, it could be a team of Adolf Hitler, Pol Pot, Augusto Pinochet, Josef Stalin and Kim Jong Il and if one of them scores against the Canucks you take it.
Daniel Sprong is going to be a good consolation prize for whichever team misses out on the top 5. Button has him listed at 6'1" 189lbs, but I've seen him listed at 200 lbs elsewhere. Electrifying skill and he's learning to use his size now that he has it.
Also, at no. 19 is Brock Boeser. If his name is pronounced 'boozer' then I think we have to draft him, no matter where we finish.

There is word going around that Sprong's father might be a problem.
He apparently got into physical fights with other hockey parents, yelled at other kids if they didn't pass his son the puck, and even told his son to start taking the puck away from other teammates he felt were a detriment to his son.
Will see if that becomes an issue for teams at the draft.
