Of course I wouldn't go out in person and impose my opinions on people at random, but if I was sitting at a table with others and certain topics came up, I would participate in those topics much in the same way I would on an internet message board.


I'm quite reasonable outside of sensitive social and political issues. I live a normal married life, enjoy helping people, enjoy travelling, blah blah blah.

As I've said in the past, I moved out here for a lifestyle change. Both physically and mentally. Am I there mentally yet? Not quite... it won't happen over night. I'm naturally drawn to controversy.

Perhaps I need to participate in some of the harmless threads on CP... they just never seem as fun as the debatable ones.

Anyways... part of me feels bad that some of you have such strong opinions on me (which seems like it's on a deep personal level). It's almost not worth it. I don't want to make enemies, I just want to be able to share my opinions without having my entire character based on those opinions.

The problem this board has with you, is that you are a racist.

This board is very multicultural, and there is no place for racism here. No matter how much you try and veil it, it will come out. And thankfully, your "freedom of speech." rights do not apply on a privately owned forum.

First, define race. Your definition is fine. That will help me understand why you, or others, think I'm racist.

Am I Xenophobic? Yes

Race, by my definition, is entirely based on the Biological definition of Race. In this sense, I am not a racist.

If your definition of race spans into everything, including culture, then yes, you might have a case. However, and thankfully, most people who come to Canada to share their cultures, fully embrace Western culture as their primary value system. I want these people to immigrate here in record numbers. We need them. Our economy needs them.
It's those that come here and have no desire to even attempt to integrate that I have a problem with.

So you admit that you have an irrational dislike toward cultures you don't understand. You admit to the same for the Islamic community and you subscribe to a biological definition of race, all while hiding behind Freedom of Speech.

What you miss is that our Western culture was created by settlers that came here, bringing with them there previous traditions. You idealize some specific Western Culture, so don't try and dress it up.

Those usernames are all known to be dj_patam. He even said under the last name (Notorious Honey Badger) that he even lost track of all the names he's had.

On SSP Forum upon announcement of Chinook Mall expansion plans, posted by member patm:

This was the story I heard back when I worked in Chinook in '08-ish.

Their plan was to build something similar to South Coast Plaza in LA which is one huge mall connected to another decently sized mall by a bridge across the street. I was also told that they owned the land across Macleod but I don't know if thats true.

I don't know if I get the reason for adding in another "professional" building to the Chinook site as it would take away valuable retail area for when the mall decides to expand again. Which it will.
