Mayza comes in and stinks it up. You simply can't lose a series to a team like this at this critical point in the season.

Must win game against a plug of a starter. Jays only have 4 hits. Granted they were long balls but you need to pile on runs when you can.

Looking at the OOT the Jays are going to fall 2.5 back of the final wild card. I just don't see how they can make up that ground at this point. They have shown all year they refuse to string wins together. And that's what they need right now.

I think Texas will be the team to catch.

They have the Astros and Twins again coming up. Bo Sox series while they’re still in the hunt. 7 of last 10 games against Mariners.

And Blue Jays host them for a 4 game series still. Which Jays will need to take 3 of 4 to gain a couple games.

Weird to think the team with the best AL run diff is the team to catch but since they’ve gone cold they’re our best bet.
