Hope it's Huberdeau or Kadri. Would love some kind of trade announcement though, still 1 piece away IMO.

Yeah, I look at that top-6 and something definitely feels missing. It's like the reverse of the last few years, where we were a tad thin at C, and sound at the wings- now it feels like we're deep at C, and thin on the wings. Toffoli shouldn't be a question mark, but to me he is. Is Dube a bonafide top-6 winger, or more effective on the 3rd line? I have to believe there's lines in the water for another winger.

I don’t think they’re announcing a captain this early in the season. But if they are and it’s Sutters choice, I think he goes with Kadri.

The background wall paper is black, which isn't on the home or away jerseys. My guess is it's a black 3rd jersey announcement.

That would be a pretty big letdown after those tweets. Flames just had their best season in years and did it without a captain. The whole letter thing is irrelevant IMO. All window dressing.

Wow. Totally see Kadri differently. Love the player and glad we have him. But he does not seem like a Captain at all. Plays on the edge.
A calm, experienced, accomplished captain would be awesome to keep him dialed in without going on tilt.
