It is indeed rather painful to watch.

How does the hitting coach still have a job?

It's becoming ever more clear. This team's just not good enough.

All we can do is hope the bats turn it on or they flip the switch, but until further notice they're just not good enough.

Springer, Varsho and Chapman against Clase.

I hate our chances...

I hate sports.

Chapman hit the ball hard on the double. But has also struck out 3 times. He's been nothing short of horrible since April.

Astros lost again, Rangers lost again.

Yall are acting like the season is over and all is lost. It isn't.

It's not that the season is over. They just keep making things way harder on themselves than it should be. They can't keep laying eggs and then just expecting the teams fighting with them to bail them out by losing too.

Cleveland pitching shuts us down again lol

At least Texas and Houston lost

I cannot believe Seattle just passed them both. They were sub .500 a handful of weeks ago

Seattle was so bad to start the year, but they turned it around and now hottest team in baseball. We keep waiting for the Jays to do that but they can never get on any sort of run. I think longest win streak they had this year was 6 games, but then that was followed up with getting swept by the Redsox in 4.

I really enjoy Arden Zwelling’s contributions to the broadcast.

Even if I think Buck is a bit past his prime (he’s been the voice of the Jays since I was a kid and his voice is still great), as Jays fans, we are pretty lucky to have Shulman, Zwelling, Siddall, Mae, and Campbell as part of the broadcast experience.

Ryu is such a vet. He doesn’t get rattled by a bomb…just gets back on the mound and keeps on going. I don’t know if that can be taught but I hope Manoah starts to pick up some of it.

Speaking of Manoah - this article is interesting: https://www.thestar.com/sports/blue-...39931.amp.html

Wondering if maybe there is something personal going on with Manoah.

I won’t be too disappointed if neither Chapman nor Espinal were on the team next year.

Chapman will be grossly overpriced (anything over $15m per season is too much) and Espinal has just not proven that he is anything but a AAAA player.

Now we have to deal with Yimi.

2 straight errors and a hit batter. The Jays finally get a few runs but are finding new ways to lose the game.

Putting Yimi in leverage situations just isn’t a good idea. I don’t get why it continues to happen.

Holy hell Yimi. That was your most clutch appearance of the year. Especially after that shaky start. I thought for sure that was going to be a disastrous inning for the Jays.
