That's too bad that BMO Field looks like that. Honestly, Commonwealth - with the proposed renos, of course - would have been an awesome stadium to host World Cup games. Right size, right views, recently upgraded public infrastructure, right time of year too. It's hosted high-level footy games before, and it's been just fine. Missed opportunity, IMO.

I don't think the views of the temporary stands are obstructed. No argument they are an eyesore.

The nosebleeds at the Dome, from a distance, look like they'd be obstructed by the press boxes, scoreboard, etc. Once you're up there, because you're looking down, you can see the entire playing surface.

My bar for FIFA is set fairly low, but I don't think that even they would pull that.
