I think they would have to find a 3rd team to eat some of the salary if the other teams pitched in to make the trade work. If the Rangers aren’t going after another big name in free agency this year, the cap savings could go towards targeting Draisaitl next summer.

I’ll go out on a limb and say that you can rest assured Trouba would have Calgary on the NTC.

His wife is a Dr. in NY. I doubt very much he has any inclination to leave the eastern sea board.

I hope this trade gets the wheels moving on an Andersson deal and we get another top 15 pick tomorrow

Looking at our roster our forward group is a big mess. Way too many RWs, no centers or LWs.

I think a number 3/4 vet D will be coming in with a vet C. Not long term deals.

I don’t see a logical slot for Coronato

Guess we’ll see what happens right away.

Yeah it definitely feels like Rasmus is on the way out too. At his cap hit and term remaining , there'll be a multitude of options for Conroy to maximize his return in any way he sees fit.
