Basically need two of the three things to be strong. I'm most concerned about the rotation right now and recent struggles of Happ and Estrada

I say Pillar tomorrow. He should be plenty motivated.

They have to be willing to consider something else in the eight inning. Grilli has been good, but has a tendency to walk people. He was able to get away with that against a lot of teams, but it's a recipe for disaster against the AL East.

If I'm the Jays, I'm strongly considering a 7th of Benoit/Grilli/Dermody/Liriano 8th of Benoit and Osuna in the 9th.

A motivated hacker at the plate, is a guaranteed out. I think he needs to sit one out and refocus.

Why on earth are some people trying to count out the Orioles? They are alot like us in almost every single way. We are gonna be lucky if this isn't a 3 team race for the AL East title.

Can't keep counting teams out that are way too close to us.

Must get back to winning again

So how the hell does that ump miss that catcher's interference? Didn't affect the outcome, but sure could have. They can review a bunch of other garbage in baseball, that seems like something that should be added to the list.

If the Jays do end up not winning the championship, I really think they should look to bring guys in who can hit for a high average to do something aside from HR's. This RISP and not scoring is absolutely frustrating night after night to watch. Free swingers like Upton should be the first guys shipped out for guys with high averages.

Smoak has the lowest career avg with bases loaded amongst active players at 0.125.

Well ####. Of course Tampa Rays can do absolute zip all against the Os (yet still can do no wrong against us because, stupid curse), and the Bosox are up early on the Padres.

We better win tomorrow!

Well now tied with the Redsox and 1 game up on the O's and Tigers.

One thing for sure is that it's gonna be fun watching this race. We like to complain about how much they seem to be struggling, but let's not forget that they are still in a playoff spot. Prior to last season we were out of the playoff race by August for years.

The look on his face when he realised he caught it was priceless.

Yes, but that was the massive disappointment for many years. They are clearly better than that for this year.

This season will be a total failure if they don't make the playoffs, and quite frankly they have to this year because they could be losing both EE & an aging Joey Bats after this season.

At least the O's lost to the Rays this afternoon, so there's a small bit of positive news.

I would like to see Donaldson hit a home run today, I mean its been 7 games since he has hit one! Hopefully the Jays can take it to Bryan Mitchell in his first start of the season, but if it's anything like Alex Cobb's first start of the season I won't be surprised either.

Lets: a) get some runs b) have a decent bullpen performance c) win

Travis is starting to make me nervous every time a ball is hit to him.
