Clearly the reviews of the Blizzard launch readiness and decision to require server log-in for the single player game are negative, but for those who have gotten decent play time, how is the game?
Importantly, is the game a cpu and / or graphics hog?

If your computer can run Starcraft 2, then it will have no problems with this.

Got 4 yellow items so far, and I think blacksmithing is worth it, at least so far. I can smith stuff that's way better than what I find unless I find something yellow.

Well I just got kicked out of our game with Pacem and now the servers are busy again. 
We are lvl 19 in the middle of Act 2. Game is pretty fun, but compared to D2 really stripped down.

Everyone on CP is low lvl though ha, in Act 1.
Is the max lvl 99 again? I heard it was 60 when I was playing with some guys last night.
Servers aside, D2 Battle.net > D3 Battle.net. I hate the fact I can't find my own public games, all the games I join are 1/4, I want to see which game I'm joining beforehand so I can join some 2/4 or 3/4 games.

Pretty fun game. The max level is 60.
They will need to develop the social aspect alot more.

If people are in your friends list, you can invite them and it shows you how many people are in the party. I can't see anyway to join someone who hasnt invited you though.

Yeah, I can see the friends list one, but if you guys remember D2 Battle.net you had your choice of games to choose from, it told you how many people were in the game and where they were in the story.
With this you can only join people who are near you in the story, and you can't pick the game to join, you just join one randomly.
The thing I like about this game compared to D2 though is the sheer amount of different environments, there are way way way more than in D2.
