I’ve seen them at the North Hill fanattic recently, but I’d phone them ahead of time and double check on the stock.

Remember that ass clown a few years ago that wore the neon yellow or green sweatshirt that literally made it look like he had a halo around him when sitting amongst all the red?
Dude thought he was funny, but just looked like a complete donkey.

As for red in the Dome, I just recently ran into a co-worker I went to a playoff game with years ago (against the Blackhawks...2008?). 11 years later, and his main memory of that game was the awkwardness I made him feel due to his lack of red clothing. We managed to find a red and black jacket to put him in, but I was weighing the options on whether or not to ditch him.
Nice guy. Not enough red.

I bought one at the game itself a few years back. Wore it as a cape! Fanatic has stacks of them

The only reason I commented about wearing it again is because if I can manage to get to a game this year it is going to cost me a grand so I may not choose to afford a new jersey. I guess I could dig up something red, but the road jersey with the large red flaming C might have to serve. Not trying to offend anyone.

I checked Amazon last week and their shipping dates (even with prime) were between April 26 and May 15. For local, I checked Fanattic, which claimed to have four of them at North Hill, so I went there, and it turned out that the four were actually at the Saddledome Fanattic. So I had to drive to the dome to secure the very important item, and upon purchasing, I found out it was just a crappy, nylon rag for $30.
I put it up on the flagpole anyway, and I will be impressed if it makes it to the end of the playoffs. If the Flames go that far, the flag is going to be as tattered and hurtin' as the team.

Maybe I missed a key part of the thread and am not getting it but Scorpion's list of approved jerseys got me going.
It's all good. I just don't like to be told what I'm permitted to wear.

It’s wear red. The point of the thread is wear red. Red is a colour often misunderstood. A white jersey isn’t red.

Yes, you absolutely should wear that beautiful thing on Saturday night.
As long as you wear a RED jersey over top of it!

They seemed to work pretty well in 1989.

The C is like triple the size now, and did fans all wear jerseys all that much in 89?

I live near the dome, & will get you something red if you’re unable.

C of Red predates 1989. In the 1986 finals, I wore a red sports jacket (had a white home jersey at that time). Brightly coloured sports jackets were a thing back then (this was after onions on the belt became passé).
I don't recall CofRed being a "thing" earlier, but someone can correct me.

Seriously. Even a $20 red Walmart t-shirt is better than not wearing red.

I was a season ticket holder for a number of years before it became too much of a hassle managing tickets being on/off tour. But when I attended the playoffs I always wore the red jersey. It’s fun to be a part of something. That said, I was never bothered if someone around me wasn’t in red, although I certainly noticed them. We’re all fans first united by more than a Jersey colour.
