love the early round taking care of business style dismissal. This is an essential part of joining the elite ranks, being fresh for week 2 of a tourney.

Yup, also the rain came back about 20 minutes or so after Vicky wrapped up proceedings, you don't want to make a long day on court even longer.

Gabriel advances 6-2 7-6 over Yibing Wu but there was a scare in the 2nd set tie-break as he tried to change direction quickly and let out a loud painful scream. Fortunately, he was able to continue and finish the match and looked pretty much okay.

The match in IW between Fonseca and Sinner was certainly higher quality than this one between Fonseca and Charlie.

Several seeds on the men's side went down today including De Minaur, Bublik, Ruud, Cobolli, and Draper.
