What’s really sad about these last two playoff runs is that the Oilers don’t deserve any of it. These clowns are easily the most embarrassing franchise in pro sports, and have been for well over a decade. And yet right now it seems like they can’t lose. The whole thing just makes me sick.

Call me an optomist or whatever but I don't see anything they're doing very impressive. Vegas outplayed them badly but its 2-0 so this series is gonna be tough. Stars/Jets seem to be on another level as do the Leafs/Panthers. Haven't watched as much of the rest.

There's a long tradition of putting the whistles away in OT for hooking and holding but that was a dangerous can opener where a player got hurt. It has to be called but we all know the officials consider themselves as game managers first and officials to call by the rule book second.
