First controversial call, but I honestly have no idea whats ever a catch in the NFL anymore.
I can't remember what game it was where the ball hit the ground in a similar way and it was called a catch, so I don't know anymore.

Yeah the mistakes have to be egregious for these ex-officials to call out the crew for bad calls. I personally don’t think that was a catch based on historical reviews like this where the ball was moving around before it hit the turf.

Yeah except that probably should have been incomplete. Ball touches ground pretty much every time is incomplete.
