Caleb was pretty much bang on when there were 4 rushing, then when there was a blitz the line fell apart. Hope adjustments can be made before he gets killed

Ravens got screwed on that pass interference call on Stevens. Harbaugh has every right to be upset at the refs.

It looked like Houston was playing with 15 defenders in the second half.

The Commies line is also terrible. Good thing Daniels has wheels, otherwise they'd have killed him already.

Klint Kubiak looks like the early candidate to be the hot coordinator in the next round of head coaching hires.

I heard in the morning that a Raiders straight up win would pretty much make most sports books profitable for the day as it would blow up pretty much every parlay and teaser.

But the Ravens have gained a reputation as a team that's not disciplined. They never should have lost that game but when you see 100 plus penalty yards, you see why they did. I'd expect a coach like Harbaugh to have his guys playing smarter. Take away that questionable call they still have 93 penalty yards. Even there the CB is locked up with Adams before the throw, I'd say it's guys playing...but elite WR do get calls.

Ja'Marr chase grabbed onto McDuffie and dragged him down on a ball down the sidelines yesterday, he got that call in his favor.

that's how you Sam Darnold a QB.

so important for a young QB to be put into a situation to succeed, and that starts with an OL that doesn't kill you. Certainly a worry for both Williams and Daniels already ... I don't think Bo Nix is anything special, but at least they are calling a game that doesn't kill him, even against a stellar pass rush like the Steelers yesterday. Problem there is that they don't seem to have a run game ... if your RB1 has 11 carries for 17 yards, your rookie QB will have a bad day.

Yeah these young QBs aren't really the problem when most of them bust - the problem is bad coaches and bad offensive lines cause them to not develop and then it breaks them.

0 TD passes for the rookie QB class through two weeks and 3 TD total: 2 rushing for Daniels and 1 rushing for Nix.

The NFL is pretty terrible at developing young QBs

Yup and in reality I'm not sure any of them should even be starting...maybe Caleb Williams but not with the offensive line they have.

Feels like it's always the better option to have your QB develop behind another QB for at least one season, but most teams don't seem to take that approach.

Yep. These guys are basically thrown into the fire to sink or swim in some pretty bad teams and situations. Spending a season on the bench never hurt Mahomes and it certainly didn't hurt Love. The Patriots are the only team doing it right this season.

The Vikings might fall backwards into doing it right with McCarthy too due to his injury, and same with Atlanta but that's also kind of failing into the right outcome.

Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold being 2nd and 3rd in the NFL in TD passes, and both are top 5 in QB rating...just as was expected in the 2018 NFL draft.

wonder which QB the Panthers are going to destroy next. Beck? Milroe? Ewers?

I don't know who the worst owner in sports is, but David Tepper has to be in contention.

How bad does that Panthers trade look? It was bad when it happened but man Young looks to be regressing. Can't blame him. The line is a mess. The entire team is a mess.

Bears received:
 WR DJ Moore
2023 first-round pick (OT Darnell Wright)
2023 second-round pick (CB Tyrique Stevenson)
2024 first-round pick (QB Caleb Williams)
 2025 second-round pick

Panthers received:
2023 No. 1 pick (Bryce Young)

We are two weeks into the season where starters played less than ever. So I don't know if I'd poo poo this group of QB's too much yet.

The Bears actually gave Williams more to work with off the hop than most any team I can remember for a number one pick. The Texans defence which I'm sure many here are not that familiar with might be a really good unit. Although the concerns about the Bears coaching may be valid.4
