Someone mentioned this about Austria, and I feel the same about this Swiss team, but they play like a club team and not a national team. The fluidity, the link up, the interplay is more like what you'd see from a club side who've played together forever than a national team cobbled together in a few weeks.

But I agree with you, theres no more magic to Italy. Its like they started the game completely unable to try anything and they're all out of ideas.

Stunningly poor. Even though they are rebuilding, the squad selection was abhorrent, and too many good players weren’t selected at all.
Every game Spalletti radically changed tactics, and it clearly confused.
Sad to see Italy go, but if they play like this, put in a piss poor effort, they don’t deserve support.
