The war room tried to screw us twice this game and nearly succeeded. The first is that "distinct kicking motion" the second cost us the game. I am getting really tired of this bush league inconsistency and clear lack of integrity. Set a standard. Stick to it. Be consistent. It honestly is starting to feel like the officials bend the rules to whichever team they want to win.

This is the rule book definition (see below). I'm not sure how you can say this was 100% the right call based on how the rule emphasizes "clearly directed" and not "touched" or "deflected".

A challenge is supposed to show 100% conclusive there was a problem that leaded to the goal since it was called a goal on the ice.

For the people who don't understand the complaint about the NSH goal... it's not about whether or not it was a hand pass... it's about Forsberg literally being allowed to catch and throw the puck from behind the net, over the top of the net and down to the crease in front of the net.

THAT's allowed, but a puck deflecting off someone's pinky 2 minutes before someone else scores is not.
