Florida goes as Brobovksky does. Guy is simply on another level.

This is amazing. Chucky again from the two Sams. Incredible. I think Tkachuk drew the penalty too.

It’s fair.

Treliving hired the coaches that screwed Bennett over here.

Treliving signed the bridge contract that walked Chucky out the door.

It just is what it is.

Should of paid Chucky and not done the bridge deal. But it is what it is.

didn't he say his hand was busted almost the whole playoffs last year ? i think that is why he was so bad. I knew he would be good after that learning experience

I feel like chances are had Tkachuk signed long-term he would have still demanded a trade out. Would anything have changed?

If Florida wins the cup, does Treliving get a ring?

Should have gave him 6 plus years instead of the stupid bridge contract. Should have game him the captaincy instead of letting Gio toungue lash him only to let the leader go in the expansion draft.

Not signing him to an 8 year extension was…I don’t see Brady trying to leave Canada. People need to stop defending Treliving like he didn’t screw this up.

Under Sutter Benny and Chucky wouldn't have even started the PP as they were on the ice when the penalty was called.

Also, like it or not happy players work harder, they're not cattle.

He would of left 100% but I think the Flames would of got two more years.

As far as the return on Tkachuk, it was a terrific return. Flames just messed up afterwards with extensions, signing Kadri and trading draft picks instead of acquiring more.

Ultimately, we’ll never know and it’s all behind us anyways.

It’s probably a good thing that Treliving is gone at this stage though. If he wasn’t, I imagine there’d be more people coming out against him.

Flames just need to leave that era behind. I want the door slammed on that era this Summer. Trade Lindholm, Hanifin, and Backlund.

Just embrace the new era, and continue to define it…and hope that (Connie?) has learned from Tree’s mistakes.

lets pump the brakes a little. this panthers team is water skiing behind bob big time. hes a part of the team, yes, but, whens the last time an 8 seed won the stanley cup behind goaltending alone? besides 04 when they missed the goal in game 6 that is.

What evidence do we have that MT would have ever signed an 8 year deal at that time?
