A lot of money rides on EPL games - and individual incidents within the games.

I question the integrity of those involved in the running of the sport and by extension - the sport.

It just seems questionable that VAR is calling back goals for the chintziest offsides or things like that, and then allows a volleyball pass to stand. Its the lack of consistency that makes it so difficult.

Anyone seeing who's leading the Aerial Duel winning percentage thus far?
If you bet the shortest CB in the league, you'd be right. Weird how he was able to maintain that last game, with carrying Mount in his pocket.

He should get the armband.

That De Bruyne free kick today was inch perfect.

Spurs claw back a result but overall still a poor effort and haven’t really been trending the right way, especially to start games.

Just hoping we can make it to world cup break in a good spot

A draw at marseille, and then liverpool and leeds at home, be happy with 4 points there

With the fixture congestion probably have to rotate heavily for league cup at forest in midweek between liverpool and leeds and hope for the best

Then maybe conte can work with Spence for 6 weeks and we can finally have a rwb who can cross and offers an attacking option

Kulesevski warned up on field today too, so maybe he can be a sub at marseille and play next weekend, will make a huge difference

Crysencio Summerville sounds like a regen from a video game.

it does remind me a bit of his last Dortmund season. The team just doesn't look sharp at all, and their defense has been leaky all season.

come on Jürgen, this has run its course! Go back to Germany, you know you want to.

Losing Mane hurt a lot, obviously, and their midfield is still not even close to good enough, but no way should they be looking this bad. I didn't buy the talk early on that he had lost the room, but it's looking more and more like that's the case.

I would hope Spence gets some legitimate time soon. He can’t be worse than Emerson. Conte basically had Skipp playing RW in the first half.

I mean, beating City only to lose back-to-back games against Nottingham and Leeds is ... something.

Also is the end of Van Dijk home unbeaten streak, which you would have thought would have been to City and not Leeds, but here we are. It's hard to believe they were only two wins away from the quad and now making top 6 is looking like an achievement.

that was harder than necessary. Should have put the game to bed earlier ... West Ham had some pretty good chances late in the game. Glad United held on for the win, but it shouldn't have been such a nailbiter.

Scamacca should have been sent off too with a second yellow, but it's the same old story: if he's not booked yet, he gets a yellow there 100 percent. But since he's already booked, the ref doesn't want to give him another. It's wrong, but you see that with refs everywhere, sadly.

I only caught the highlights, but my word was de Gea outstanding. The parry on the Zouma header was a shot stopper, but at the 93' Rice absolutely leathered that ball, and again de Gea parried it away.

Here's something I didnt' expect to say; Mctominay with a zidane-esque-like flick to Fred, that he lays flush into the post.

Son needs surgery to stabilize fracture around his eye

I cant see him being ready in 3 weeks for the world cup, horrible timing for him and South Korea

I read that today and I feel bad for him. This World Cup in the middle of the season has to have players taking it easy to make sure they’re not injured.

This is so, so stupid. A mid-season World Cup just because the bribes were big enough.

I mean, I complain about the African Cup of Nations taking place in the middle of the season because the PL loses all of their African players, this is like 100x dumber than that.

They need to have a 'Hardest Shot' competition, and then whoever wins that needs to go and kick Blatter square in the nuts.

De Bruyne came back ridiculously quick from that broken orbital bone to play in the Euros. Might need to be masked up, but I could see Son making it. Although it begs the question of whether he owes it to his employer to not rush back and risk making worse just to play for free.
