Honestly reading Craig with the hard defense of a piece of trash player has made me lose some respect for him. I hope Dave called him up and asked the question that we are "Hey bro WTF".
The whole, he's engaged to a black woman and has black friends is such a cynical defense, that I'm glad he got called out for it.
Have we heard a single contrite word from Marino? An apology? A I hope the player that I hurt makes a full recovery, I would never try to take a persons livelihood away in a game.
Nope nothing.
This is a multiple tine offender, he actually received a 1 game suspension for using racist speech.
but the league made its own bed by allowing Lawrence to continue to collect a CFL paycheck.
But I'm really disappointed in Craig.

Love that he's taking shots at Craig and the Riders. Going back to the Shivers days the organization has always lacked class but this is an all time low for the organization. Craig being an ex-Stamp and Raiders coach always had my admiration but now it's gone. It appears the Rider stink has tainted him.

He (Masoli) is getting plenty of support from fellow players as well as guys that cover the league. I don't think it will force the Riders to make a move, but they sure have botched this situation.

If racist comments are substantiated on the field or off the suspension should be remainder of the season. Even a lot of hockey beer leagues understand the importance of zero tolerance on that junk these days and place it above most physical acts for punishment. Many have standard suspensions for injury type plays and an automatic season long suspension if you're caught uttering racist remarks.
Just utter garbage.

Nah, let's not sink down to that level. I'd rather wish for people in positions of authority having the fortitude to hand down appropriate punishment for serious transgressions instead of a slap on the wrist.

Yeah, they should've, at least the organization should've release an apology if not after the game should've right after the suspension comes out. And Craig Dickenson should've never open his mouth defending the player's racial slur and saying the player's fiance is black and he has many black friends. A racial slur is a racial slur, it shouldn't have happened in any moment not even the heat of the moment. I find it laughable people saying it's the heat of the moment and he didn't mean it. You know, I'm more upset about the racial slur than the dirty hit. I want his head on a pike TOQH. And I'm upset at the league that don't have the balls to say it's a racial slur instead calling it an unacceptable comment to Masoli's heritage, WTF?
Sorry for the rant.

On some positive news Chris Jones still makes Calgary Fans happy.
Challenges but doesn't know what is PI and what is illegal contact.... lol
Also on the play the Elks were flagged so even if he wins it's still 2nd down.
