Bautista would have been thrown out for that.

Yes. The dumber rule is the pitcher would take the loss for allowing the inherited run that made the different.

LOL, how prophetic.

I would have left Borucki in. He was doing fine.

That's on Montoyo.

why would they bring in Dolis? wouldn't it be better to walk Fletcher and let Borucki face Ohtani? lefty on lefty and you get a force at every base. I hate Montoyo.

Haha. Great pull Montoyo.

This loss is on the lack of execution. Too many wasted opportunities late in the game.

I'm fine with them pulling Borucki, as he was likely good for a couple batters. But Dolis? Why?

One pitch, nice job Dolis.

Otherwise this was an entertaining game.

Jays really blew that opportunity in the 7th.

These guys and their fundamentals...just brutal.

You have a guy on 2nd...quit swinging for the damn fence. Shorten up, make contact, drive a single...win.

Ugh. Bad baseball.

Talkin about Bichette last inning btw.

Ugh. Bad baseball.

It's the worst managed team in baseball, we're going to see this all year.

And next year too. It still baffles me why they picked up the option.

no team looks at strikes and swings at balls more than this one.

Just 7 games in and the pitching has been somewhat decent, while the bats have been completely atrocious. These young hitters have a long ways to go still.
