If the 5 hole wasnt there he would have roofed it. Malkin scores from the 90% of the time. Sometimes you have to give the credit to the shooter.

Would be nice if Smith was on the positive side of some 50/50 chances. Might help restore some confidence in him.

Some goalies might, but its more like it would hit them, than they would actually stop it. Gaudreau scores goals like that all the time.

Why are Brodie and Rasmus playing so high when the Pens were giving them so much room?

Did I say that? Nope. What I said was he wasn't out of position. Sid had the puck in the middle and passed. Smith had to cover Sid (most guys shoot) and then move for thMalkin chance. I won't say no goalie stops it. What I will say is that goal goes in a lot of times.

Top forwards are super disappointing today.

But I'm loving the show by our depth.

Did you not notice who the guy passing the puck was? You do realize a goalie needs to play the shot as much as the pass. Just take a seat

Just catching up. Cassie says Smith is too far to his right when it goes 5 hole. Um, no

Yup, the pass is the defences responsibility

Yeah it would be nice if he could have made a big glove save at an important time in the game....

Not really. Looks more like they've gone into a bit of a defensive shell. They're doing a decent job clogging up the neutral zone over the last few shifts.

Hits are 30-30. Can't say the Flames are play soft and light this game.
