Haven’t seen the Flames outplayed that badly in a period for quite some time. That was sloppy, too many giveaways and they stopped skating.

Worst period they’ve played this season, including the Pittsburgh game.

Rittich holding them in it. The good news is I can’t see the third being any worse.

Jets really took it to us in that period and were finally rewarded. Thankfully Rittich and the PK came up huge.

Flames better regroup and come out flying in the 3rd to close this out. And for the love of all that is holy, please stay out of the box.

Jets definitely dominated that period, glad they only notched one. It's pretty incredible how good almost all their players are at stickhandling - Flames have had some great penalty kills this game though, and Rittich looked sharp as the heat ramped up.

don't. We are a beast in the 3rd. That and the frog assures me we will win.

Laine with his 5th 5v5 point of the year. 33% of his points on 5v5 and that one essentially was the power play. I think he’s a hell of a weapon but he has a ton of holes in his game. I’d take Tkachuk all day.

Only 50% of his points over all of last season scored 5v5

Can't spend half a period killing penalties.

Really don't get how Buff doesn't get an unsportsmanlike on his poke after the whistle. What else would you call it? As mentioned, Tkachuk gets called on that. Hell, he might get a 10 minute misconduct.
