If they keep GG + The rest of the coaching staff for next season. I'm done with the team.

Gotta keep Johnny but needs someone to play with. I'm not convinced Monahan is a number 1 center - he just vanishes some games.

a lot of low percentage shots from the point. Great for the corsi fans, but not much help in generating any real offense.

This all sounds so much like backlund while he was developing and it’s pretty much guaranteed that idiots on CP undervalue Bennett compared to anyone who actually works in the nhl as a coach or gm
Idiots nice
What has Bennett done on the wing apart from a very small stretch of games?

Brouwer with Gaudreau and Monahan is going to glue everything together.

Brouwer on the first line... that’ll fix it Gully! Fire this man! Then buyout Brouwer.

I understand that locating specific insedences would be impossible, as bad calls aren’t indicated on game sheets, but an AC video of terrible ref (from all teams and games, not just flames) would be amazing. Would give tweeters (tweetists? twats?) something to spam the league and broadcasters with. If it went viral it might actually result in something being done...or at least explained publicly.

Also, I can’t wait until Tkachuk scores with that move.

Like how hard is it to put Tkachuk on the first line.

Backlund has put up 47 and 52 points in the two seasons before this one and he's gonna get ~50 again this year. That is second liner production, while also being one of the best shutdown forwards in the league.

The sad part of this game is that I like what they're doing on the offensive side. They're crashing the net, getting lots of shots, and putting in the effort. I get that it doesn't go in some nights, but I can't blame the offensive effort.

The problem is that they're so poorly coached from a team defense standpoint that they can't walk and chew gum at the same time.

Did you see how they broke out there? Where was that before? They are going for it and skating. Why isn't this the default setting?

Disappointing game, Flames look like they are going through motions. These guys are not playing for each other or the coaches.

Not fair. We want them putting the puck to the net. When they don't shoot, we cr*p on them for it. We can't just expect them to walk every puck into the net with a 5 way passing play.

The offensive effort has been fine tonight.
