Sounds interesting. What was the Patrick Kane vs the wild thing on the Iginla?

My theory is that he's actually Rafikov, but they had to smuggle him into the country and couldn't make it known that they did.

Another 6th round gem in Tuulola. Yay!
I had my hopes for months the Flames would take Tuulola before the draft. Did a lot of homework and he has come as advertised.
When draft weekend came I annoyed the crap out of CP with constant droning of RS RW targets. Then the 6th round came and no one was happier than me to see his name called by the Flames.

Sincerely wished I could have made it today to witness these players first hand but the logistics didn't allow for it to happen.

Pumped Tuulola opened some eyes today. I hope he keeps it up!

You guys are making Tuulola sound less like Milan Lucic and more like Jamie Benn.

I never read the draft thread for him, what were the deficiencies in his game that allowed him to slip to the 6th round? What does he need to work on most?

Tuulola is an interesting case as well - in the year prior to his draft year he had a great season. Put up a ton of points, and had similar U-17 season stats to former first rounders like Armia and Kasperi Kapanen.

Then had a really poor draft season for whatever reason.

With his size, and supposed skill the Flames may have gotten a steal in the 6th.

Who impressed me most today:

Tuulola
Kanzig
Foo
Rempal
Kylington
Dyukov
Fox
Ollas Mattsson
Harrison

Who didn't:

Tkachuk
Jankowski
Rittich

Not to say that Jankowski and Tkachuk were bad, they just stood out in a bad way. They were both trying to do too much.

Rittich was terrible.

Tuulola was simply the best player on the ice. I was expecting Tkachuk to play like that....pretty impressive.

Tkachuk and Janko both had flashes but didn't play all that well.

Love to hear E 2 impressing the masses . I cannot help but laugh when I looked him up and saw the face of a 5 year old smiling.

His skating is what most people have said he needs to work on.

Got the game recorded entirely. Will upload when i get home should be online at 4ish because it takes so long to upload. That Phillips shootout shot was amazing. Highlight of the night play
