Looked to me like Beauchemin purposely bit his lip after the play.
Veteran move when you have incompetent refs.

We scored a goal on a fairly blatant interference. Incompetence is blind

Dumb play by Big Joe, but neither of these refs should work another game in the playoffs.
This has been ridiculous, especially the Perry goalie interference and the Perry jump at Brodie.
Such garbage reffing.

If they were going to call make-ups, they wouldn't star now based on how it's going so far!

I've always thought that the 4 mins was for injuring someone... not necessarily cutting them?

After the Brodie non call, I'm not sure how you can call any penalty for the rest of the game

The refs are not calling this game well. Don't need to be biased to see that.

Not to mention Perry running Ramo

The big issue is that this is almost a do or die game for the Flames, unless they can somehow win 2 in Anaheim.
To see the refs calling this so poorly makes it so much worse. The Colborne penalty was legit, but 4 minutes is way over the top. It doesn't look good for the NHL to have refs decide what amounts to a potential series winning game this way.

Much better night for the Flames' big line. Sean Monahan leads all skaters with four shots through two periods.

Wow this reffing. Stupid play by Joe but really, I've seen much worse at the whistle in games. I knew when I heard Furlatt was involved in reffing crap like this would happen.
