Flames will be wearing these jerseys on Saturday for "Pink in the Rink" night. Again, auctioned off only to those in attendance.

Not usually a fan of pink on jerseys, but I like the design on these.

I've kinda felt like this "injury" was BS the whole time. He went down, gave it a shot and riding buses in the minors wasn't for him. The Flames agree to pay him for the remainder of the season and he stays away. I'm not so sure a grouchy former NHL'er is a guy you want around your farm team. I'd be shocked if he was even in Glens Falls.

I don't have the photoshop skills to make up a mock up, but I think they would make a very nice jersey. It's a clean design without all the extra piping and lines.

My only tweak to this jersey would be that I don't like how the "Adirondack" wordmark breaks up the bottom line. I'd prefer to see a solid bottom line and then Adirondack in between the lines.

I would hope we aren't paying a player who isn't playing. That's a terrible precedence to set for other prospects in our system who would see what's happening. Unless it's some excruciating personal circumstance that's preventing him from playing (family member with a terminal illness or personal issues he's receiving help for), I don't see why he should have a contract and collect his money if he's sitting out because he doesn't want to be there. We could EASILY find a kid who does. That's when you put him on the unconditional waivers with intent to terminate the contract. It happened last year with Klesla when he was traded to Buffalo and chose to retire over report to Rochester because the AHL just wasn't where he wanted his career to be. They put him on unconditional waivers so that if anyone else wanted him, they could, he cleared, they cancelled his contract and he became a UFA and free to sign wherever he wanted or retire.

Other than the number of stripes on the arms, they're very similar to the Heritage Classic jerseys.

Thought I read somewhere that he recently had a hernia fixed?

Speaking of Shore, he’s wearing No. 22 — donned most recently by RW Devin Setoguchi just this season. Considering that Setoguchi is still with the organization, sent to the minors despite having a one-way contract, it’s odd his number would be given away. However, Setoguchi recently had sports hernia surgery and won’t likely be back here
If Setoguchi just had sports hernia surgery then he is looking at a March return if everything goes right. Backlund's similar surgery had him out for a month and a half.

Was Setoguchi playing with a hernia in Calgary?

I have not much idea about these things. Anyone have any guesswork as to what one of those jerseys will go for?

Do you mean the pink ones that are being auctioned off at the game?

The Camo one they did earlier in the year, I believe Wolf's went for $1750, Poirier's for $1050 and the majority of the rest were $500-$700 range.

Vause called up from Colorado. It sucks to lose him here, but he is just too good for this league. I'm glad when you guys call up someone they get some ice time, as opposed to sitting in the stands like when we were affilliated with St. Johns.

I wouldn't be shocked to see him centering Poirier and Baertschi tomorrow. He's a good fit for that line.

And he will definitely get ice time. Huska already quite liked him and with the grim situation at centre right now, I figure he's probably walking into a #1b Centre job. Reinhart hasn't been so great, Tousi certainly isn't a top centre, it's pretty much between him and Elson whose top guy.

If there was ever a time for Reinhart to remember how he played last year and flip the switch to turn that one back on, it's now.

Wow, sounds like a great opportunity for Vause. Hope you guys get healthy soon!

Looking at the centermen on the roster I wouldn't be surprised to see someone else get a PTO as well. Reinhart, Elson, Tousignant & Vause is just not enough if you ask me. Maybe Nathan Moon gets another shot?

Moon might not be a bad idea.

I was looking at Brock Nixon as well (http://coloradoeagles.com/team/roster/?player=4747). Avsrule, do you know what position he is exactly? They only say forward for him.

I know he was a Calgary Hitmen, but for the life of me I can't picture where he lined up. He also played with the UofC for a few years. He's got a strong Calgary connection.

It was a small sample size albeit but in small doses he's looked as good as anyone (including Arnold) between Baertschi and Poirier.
