They may not be great, as far as speed in getting behind corners or safeties, but they have all proved they can make big plays.

Wilson had no problem slinging the ball around last year to the same group, and it wasn't just to Rice.

He rarely uses Miller who's a great receiving TE, or Lynch as safety valves, as he was doing last year and the first half of this year.

I'm also planning on heading out there, solo. Have yet to bite on a ticket, but have flight booked for a whirlwind Sunday, flying out and back (and hoping the game doesn't go long or into OT) same day.

Haven't been to a game in 11 years...figure this is as good as any.

With parity in the NFL, and more playoff teams being added the next couple years, the chance to see my favorite NFL team in the NFC Championship game, at home, may or may not be a 1 in 8 year luxury since the last NFC Championship game.

Simply don't have that time, he has to let loose, or go for a run. 100 yards last week, not much more the final regular season game or really the last month of the season.

Lynch has to have a good game regardless to make sure the passing game is opened up...he got shut down vs SF last game and Wilson had no answer. Wilson does enough and makes that critical play (that 3-1 lob throw to Baldwin falls incomplete, Seattle punts instead of running the next play in for a TD, and that game could swing the other way quickly), but that's walking a fine line game in and game out. The last 5 or 6 weeks he has not outpassed his opponent, and that has to change.

The defense has been absolutely dominating all season, the best ever in Seattle's history, I expect them to be firing on all cylinders again, getting pressure, and hopefully forcing Kaepernick into some ill timed throws. But like the SF and ARI loss, they can't do it all on their own.

For the defense reason alone, Wilson needs to take this one on his shoulders and contribute more than he has recently.

Weather looks to be fine, but as usual comes down to turnovers. *knock on wood* Seattle's been ok this year with not turning the ball over on offense.

Full credit to SF who is on a roll this last 6 weeks or more. Wilson needs some solid TD drives in the first couple quarters to keep the SF defense from plugging up Lynch. He does that, and Seattle's fine barring anything drastic....but if he struggles to move the ball down the field or into the end zone...

Hopefully the home field advantage is the deciding factor if things are close at the end...if there's anywhere in the NFL, or maybe even North American sports, that it's a tangible factor, it's in Seattle.
Thats a good view from a Seattle perspective.

Honestly, if this game was at a neutral site I would give the edge to the 49ers, but Seattles home field is a huge advantage and I think that may be the tipping point.

Niners have to perform well early as everyone has said. If they can jump to a quick 14-0 lead I think they'll be in good shape.

But that rarely happens at C-link.

Should be a good game either way. It'll come down to crowd noise and turnovers I think.

Prices are dropping. Tickets that were in the 400 range are now in the 300s. If you wait till Saturday evening I sure they'll drop even more.

Russell Wilson Accidentally Motivating Rival 49ers with All of His Positive, Inspirational Tweets

Quote:
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is active on Twitter and has more than 500,000 followers on the social media site. But some of his followers are members of the San Francisco 49ers — and they say they are drawing motivation from all the positive tweets Wilson sends out. “I’ll be honest, I didn’t think we had too much of a chance in the NFC Championship Game in Seattle,” said 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick. “Seattle is just so good at home. I wanted to give up. But then I saw Russell tweet out Exodus 14:14: ‘The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.’ Reading that gave me a ton of peace about the game and filled me with confidence. Now I’m pretty sure we’re going to beat the #### out of them
Quote:
“I picked up Peter Carroll’s ‘Win Forever’ book,” said Harbaugh. “I saw it in one of those spinning book racks at a gas station. Anyway, in the book he says that you’re supposed to ‘win forever.’ What a pile of meaningless bull####, right? So, yeah, reading that garbage made me even more motivated to beat him. He thinks he’s some kind of self-help guru? Screw him. He’s a phony. I want to rip his heart out.”

Seahawks-49ers is going to be an ugly, nasty, dirty game. The two teams absolutely hate each other.

It's going to be awesome to watch

Might end up going to the game in Seattle. It's nice to only be a three-hour drive away.

Would love to be at Mile High though. This is the best final 4 in recent memory - any one of these teams deserves to win it all.

Cool story time - ticket is secured. Should be a rare and awesome experience tomorrow no matter the result.

Go Hawks.

New England 34 Denver 21
Seattle 17 San Francisco 9

Though if Denver and Seattle wins let this be a lesson to Ohio, Minnesota, Michigan and New York State: Legalize weed and you too can finally make the Super Bowl again (or ever for Detroit and Cleveland).

“It’s a play that we worked on,” Colston said. “Obviously, it’s not an ideal situation (being behind with time expiring and no timeouts), but the ball came out. And obviously the throw didn’t go the way I would have planned. But, it happens.”
I didn't see this posted anywhere. Colston didn't go out of bounds because it was a called play

Hardest games to predict as far and championship games go, in a long time.

I will be cheering for the Broncos, but just dont see Brady and Belichik losing against Peyton in a game of this magnitude.

I believe SF wins fairly comfortably as well. CK playing miles better than Wilson of late and also has way more weapons.

I do see where both games could flip on a turnover though and likely at least one will.

Should be a good day of ball though.

My heart says Broncos / 49ers but my brain tells me Pats / Seahawks. Seattle is just too good at home and even as a Bronco fan I have zero faith in their 2nd string defence to be able to stop the Patriots.

Patriots and the Seahawks.

Wilson wakes up and plays like a star for the first time in months and Brady plays like Brady.

If the Broncos beat my Pats (I can't believe I'm about to say this) but I will cheer for Peyton to defend the AFC vs these braggart NFC upstarts.
