I'm betting thats the Ottawa fans. The Habs 'fans' left about 20 minutes ago.

Call a timeout! This is your chance!

Duthie - "This team went from 15th to 2nd, were injuries the difference?"
Ward - "Absolutely."

Bull.

I held off on posting too much in the thread out of general annoyance (Dogbert, are you for reals, yo?), but here's my piece. I was pretty sick and tired of hearing about how the Sens were disrespectful and dirty and classless, when they were the ones taking the classless shots, both physically and verbally. How not a single Habs player got a suspension, I will never know.

But it worked out.

Anderson should get a shrine at the Scank because he was a beauty.

Sens could have played better when all was said and done. I'll certainly take the series win, but they were downright terrible at times. They found ways to win and I am happy. They lived up to their pesky Sens nickname. Love it.

Looking forward to the next round.

GO SENS GO!!!

Pretty amazing the Senators are doing this without Spezza. The clock struck midnight for the Habs as they overachieved all season and eventually settled into the middle of the pack team they really are.

Beautiful scank shrine. Check.

I'll be sure to submit that suggestion when I go to Scotiabank next...

I for one cant believe that Fat Walrus did it!

He needs a t-shirt that says 'Fat Walrus' across it. Or even better, get practice jerseys where the whole group skates with 'Team Fat Walrus' at practice.

I must admit I lost a lot of respect for Prust for crap like that, but it is hilarious.

Fat Walrus wins Michel. The Fat Walrus always wins....

^ If that happens 3 of the 4 final teams in the West are all moving to the same division with us next season. Good times...

Thank god or refs. If it wasn't for them we would have a Habs vs Nucks Cup final every year.

Amirite?

That's completely unfair.

The refs cannot keep two powerhouse teams like these down on their own - it requires a league-wide conspiracy that holds it all together.

This goes all the way to the top! (that's right, you know who I'm talking about)

Really liked Ottawa's chances going into this. They have a great mix of experienced vets and talented, energetic young forwards. Not to mention some of the best players in the game at their respective positions (Anderson, Karlsson).

All the better they beat the Habs. Used to not mind them, not a big fan after this series.

Definitely rooting for the Sens to go all the way!

Habs benefited from not playing any western conference teams this year I figure. But they were exposed by Ottawa.
