JDavid keeps on keeping on. Scores vs Romania in the 11th minute.

A disaster for the Romanian keeper, but credit to Ahmed for keeping the pressure on. I think most guys would give up on that thinking it's an easy clear for the keeper.

Overall, Canada is dominating these guys.

Ahmed looks really good. The goal was certainly a gift, but he looks lively and is making things happen. Great set piece delivery on J David's goal too

Pretty solid overall. Romanians did have the run of play in the second half and Crapeau played well.
All things good, though Kone throwing a tantrum when getting subbed isn’t ideal.

I think Sigur will be in the starting lineup for the first World Cup match. Not sure what position he will play, but man what a player

Absolute domination by Canada over a decent Romanian side in Romania. Was not expecting anywhere near that so pleasantly surpirsed.

Kone played well but the temper tantrum after being subbed out is unacceptable. He is at a crossroads in his career where he can't fall back on his talent anymore and he needs to learn to be a professional. He's already been dropped by Marseille, has not started well at Sassuolo and is no longer first choice in midfield with Canada.

Thought Crepeau was fantastic. He has almost always done well with the national team regardless of poor club form. I've never really bought into the idea that St Clair is the #1.

Eustaquio is leaving camp for precautionary reasons and returning to Porto. I would imagine we will see a midfield of Sigur and Saliba or Choiniere for the next game. I don't know if I see Sigur starting the first game of the World Cup just yet but it's trending that way.

De Fougerolles was tremendous again and I think we have a real stud on our hands at CB.

Would love to see Marshall-Rutty make an appearance on Tusday against Wales. He'll never live up to the "next Davies" hype he had when he was 15 but he's a solid player having a great season with Charlotte and I think he can work as a depth option at fullback if needed.

That was a team that looked good yesterday. Romania aren't a bunch of schlubs either. That was a fun one.
