Yeah, the whole thing is stupid. 27 of the 30 MLB teams have a better home record than an away record (and one of the ones that doesnt is the A's which is a weird situation).
And while the Blue Jays have a bigger disparity between home and away wins than most, it isn't an unreasonably big difference, and the Padres, Mets, Rangers and Pirates all have a larger difference between their home/road wins, and the Phillies have the same spread as the Jays. So that isn't even suggestive of cheating, imo.
I think it's mostly statistical noise and things like having your home batting cage equipment. I wouldnt be surprised if the teams with the biggest differences are the ones that most effectively use their home-only Trajekt pitching simulators.
