I don’t know a ton about Haggerty but reading Mariners fan reactions and they are beyond devastated.
He is on the 10 day IL and will not play in the Jays series.

I wouldn't say Haggerty is a huge loss. Akin to Tapia coming out, so not great obviously, but he's not one of their superstars.

Crummy loss for them but not going to alter the course of the series dramatically.

Well, that’s not true. He’s a 2.1 WAR on the season compared to Tapia’s 0.2

Selfishly, I wanted Seattle to host so the games would be on at a reasonable time, day or night.

Hopefully just Seattle being involved means it'll be later in the day.

You can tell from that double play that they're just trying to not get hurt. Atleast Tapia beats that if the game means something.

West coast Jays fans and Mariners fans get screwed over on Friday. What a mess.

We actually got the 2nd best time slot out of the 4

Rays/guardians 10:00am
Cards/Phillies 12:00pm
Jays/M’s 2:00pm
Padres/Mets 6:00pm
(All times Mountain)

Those are almost all pathetic. The Jays are Canada’s team, playing a west coast team and 1pm is what they give Mariners fans? It’s ridiculous.

They always stagger the games, so I’m not shocked.

I fully expected the Cardinals to be closer to prime time with it being Pujols final playoffs, so I’m a little surprised they got the earlier time slot

This schedule exceeded my expectations slightly. Mets & Padres we’re destined to be prime time

1PM on a Friday isn't the worst to be honest.

Good excuse to screw off early on the Friday afternoon of a long weekend.

If you’re a Jays or Mariners fan on the west coast and cannot leave work early it is indeed the worst. Miss the entire game.

MLB was always going to stagger the 4 games, so it's not the worst as the two earlier time slots would be even worse. MLB wasn't going to put two games in prime time head to head.

Problem is you have no PT time zone teams hosting a wild card game, so really 8ET was the latest start time you could have without screwing over local fans, and everything needed to flow from that.

I'm actually kind of surprised they have games starting at 7:30ET and 8:30ET on Saturday and Sunday and didn't keep the same staggered start times.

Just when you thought he might end his season on a good note Mitch White had to be Mitch White.

I think Steph Currie could decide to quit Basketball...go to spring training...and outhit Bradley Zimmer over a full year. He got about 100 more plate appearances than he should have. I hope he gets nowhere near the post season roster.

Be grateful, if it's Jays vs Rays, it's probably 9am PST
