That's exactly what's wrong with Dickey and you seem oblivious to it. He has no consistency and he's just as liable to throw up a performance like today as he is a decent game, and he has no control of it either because he has no control Over the only Pitch he throws whatsoever. Even the Jays have no confidence in this guy. You can see it when they play a lot of the times when him and Thole are in the lineup. They make stupid mistakes because they know they need every run/out they can get because they are one inning away from a meltdown.

Dickey accounts for 10% of the Blue Jays total spend on player salaries. People seem to forget this. He isn't being paid like some 5th starter that you are hoping can be .500 and pitch 200 innings.

This guy has been paid premium dollars to deliver and hasn't delivered once in his entire time with the Jays.

This kind of comment really makes me mad. Dickey seems like a pretty awesome guy and a genuinely nice person. A personal attack on him because you don't like him as a player is completely unnecessary.

Where do you see a personal attack? Dickey as a starter in the AL East is as useless as a sack of ####. I'm my talking about him as a person, I'm talking about him as a baseball player.

I don't Care if he's humanatarian of the year off the field ( which would appear he may just we'll be), He's paid to deliver on the mound and he can't be trusted in any meaningful game. This is a guy taking in 10% of the Bue Jays total spend and he has no ability to consistently control the one pitcher he has.

It's time for him to just go. He adds nothing of value and is a double negative when you factor in Thole.
