Kendrick is pretty awesome, but that's a pretty rough lineup...Looks like Monsters and Men are headlining a night? Woof.
Might be passing for the first time in 5 years.

Oh wow, apparently everyone has to buy a camping pass this year too.
So for my girlfriend and I to get general admission and standard camping, we are looking at $534 Canadian EACH.
Holy cow. Definitely going to take a pass this year.

You only need 1 camping pass for every vehicle/6 people

Anyone else get their Coachella packages? I'm getting pretty pumped seeing as though it's less than 4 weeks away to weekend 2.
In case anyone is interested, I'm selling 2 weekend 1 VIP tickets for less than half price in the buy/sell forum.........

So was anyone at weekend 1? How was it? Can't miss sets?
I'm heading out on Wednesday for weekend 2 and can't wait!

Had an absolute blast at W1 this year. Been going 5 years now and this year was probably second or third best. The weather was probably the best I have seen it and everything seemed to work out incredibly smoothly.
Best sets:
-Run The Jewels
-Jack White
-Florence
-Todd Terje
-Caribou
-Lykke Li
-Ryan Adams
Drake wasn't all that great, and the Madonna appearance was weird.
All in all a great year, and I can't wait to get back next year!

Went to my first Coachella this year (Wknd 2), after buying last minute passes. Blew away my expectations. The vibe is unreal, loved every minute of it.
Favorite performances (in no particular order):
- Kygo
- Odesza
- Stromae
- The Weeknd
- Kaskade
- Florence + the Machine
- Drake
- Deorro
- Duke Dumont
Also wanted to see Interpol and Kasabian but missed out on them. Difficult to catch everything at a festival like this.
I had gone to EDCLV three years in a row, and Coachella was definitely a great change. For sure will be going back sometime.

damn.
I'm moving in with the GF next month and therefore don't want to commit to any major expenses right now. Hoping some are left over later

Yeah it's a maybe for me at this point too. I have a few friends that want to go, so we'll see how my financial situation is in January. I miss it so much though. Haven't been since 2013, and watching the streams the last two years has been painful haha

Confused how Rancid got such a big name on that poster, and seemingly prime set slot to go with it I'm assuming? That's the Rancid I'm thinking of right? 90's punk band fronted by Tim Armstrong?
If so, hadn't they already fell to not even being a headlining act at punk festivals these days. Unless they've had a huge resurgence that I'm missing I'm not seeing how they are where they are in that line-up.
Odd.

I think the lineup is actually really good. The biggest problem I have with it is Calvin Harris closing out the show.
Really Coachella???
Note: I've been wanted to see Badbadnotgood for years now......I wonder who they come out with.
I'd love to see Ice Cube too....I wouldn't be surprised if it was basically a NWA show seeing as though their movie came out in the summer. Easy hologram this year?

Somewhat weak lineup IMO.
Especially when Guns and Roses inevitably will either not show up or will put in a terrible performance.

I don't know, minus some of the pop EDM acts like Calvin Harris and Zedd I feel as though it's maybe their best lineup since 2013. While there are a lot of repeat performers from 2 years ago it's still a great lineup when you get past the first 2 lines of each day.

I feel like bands like Matt & Kim and Cold War Kids would have been much further down the list on previous years and seen at small side tents. It looks like they hit something big with the LCD Soundsystem and GnR reunion, but the rest of the lineup looks like it has a lot more filler than usual.
I actually may go to Coachella. If I do, I'll see myself having a really tough time motivating myself to enter the concert grounds before 5:00PM or so, as the lineups just don't look that deep.

If it wasn't for another big trip I have already committed to, I'd definitely be going this year for my top 6 alone.
I'd love to see (in order of excitement):
Guns N' Roses
Flume
Ice Cube
Vanic
Jack U
ZHU
Major Lazer
Disclosure
Miike Snow
Thomas Jack
Ellie Goulding
M83
LCD Soundsystem (Not a big fan of their music but seeing them live might change that)
Zedd
Chainsmokers (although they SUCKED last time I saw them)
Lido
Sam Feldt
Calvin Harris
Seems like a pretty weak line up for non-edm though. Maybe I'm just out of touch.
