This isn't really pointed at you, more so to your other pal over there.

Pretty clear which fans are being classless here and they cheer for Arsenal.

Oh yes, I'm really going to get into a discussion with you about about class.
Look at my post, filled with classless comments.

There's something interesting at play here from my perspective. Spurs win, good for them. But putting up old videos of a League Cup win and spelling out your rivals name with the numbers 5 & 1 could look like to some (not all) that one might be a poor winner. I can understand being happy that your team won, but it seems like it is a bit of hollow gloating - and it is especially odd seeing how it is the first League win in 21 attempts against your fiercest rival, which if anything is horribly pathetic in its own right.
Be happy that you won this one, because it very well could be another 11 years until you another.

I dont get it. Spurs won. There could be a million excuses why, but they still won...

Are you guys freaking kidding me? CP has a constant hate on for Edmonton and Vancouver on here but because I'm poking a little fun at Arsenal supporters I'm a poor winner? Wow - scroll back a few pages and look at the posts saying "Tottenham snatching defeat from the jaws of victory"
Arsenal is my most hated team - just like all the anti Canuck and Oiler avatars and user IDs I see on here - I'm having a little fun.
Quit being so precious!

I think that's the point where you called me, KTown and any other Arsenal supporters as classless.
And I get that Suprs won, and I think they deserved the win, and I'm not saying anything otherwise.
But when Liverpool fans (specifically Locke) is acting with more class than some posters, it makes me want to call them out. And if that makes me claseless, that's fine by me.

I'm afraid you've missed my point.
I personally find it interesting that Spurs fans will bring up a past victory in a League Cup match in which they won, instead of reveling in their current victory. If I was a supporter of a club that had gone winless in 20 top-level matches against its fiercest rival, I think I'd have the common sense to not gloat over one past result, however spectacular it may seem to a supporter of that club. Since I support neither Spurs nor Arsenal I hardly think this is about 'being precious' and more about this deep-seated inferiority complex that is rife at White Hart Lane.
I would feel the same about Flames fans that were grinding the Canucks about '7uongo' especially if Calgary had gone winlesss in 20 games against them, I'd think that they were nuts.
Unfortunately I see this on a daily basis over here from Spurs fans - and to be quite honest only from Spurs fans.

I didn't say that all Arsenal fans were being classless only that the fans that were being classless cheered for Arsenal.
Reading the thread back it seems like the majority of comments were from one poster with another poster not quite as bad but still with pretty unnecessary comments.

What? Me? Never.
That was an entertaining game though, I wish I could have watched Arsenal lose and actually enjoyed it rather than knowing that that Spurs victory was hammering another nail in Liverpool's coffin.

I must admit that I relish the idea of other clubs breaking into the top 4. However, I can understand from a supporters perspective that once you've tasted European success, you crave it. In recent years, winning the CL seemed a whole lot easier than the EPL.
Funny that.
Now what I would really like is to see that Soviet oligarch and his merry band of dirtbags fall from grace and end up 10th next season. Sadly I don't see a point in the future where Man U or Chelsea end up on the average side of things. The nature of the game has changed too much.

I posted that 5-1 victory over Arsenal because the poster said Tottenham couldn't beat a full strength Arsenal squad. That was my counter.

So then should we respond to that in kind by showing highlights of all the other games that Spurs have lost to Arsenal?
