We could be short tonight. I'm pretty sure Lambeburger said he was out for this game. Josh and Jeff M are also out now too. So if everyone shows, it should look like this....

haha, I like this line from the August GM email, considering the game where we asked for ID on a player and were told "we've been instructed not to ask for ID during the regular season, only playoffs. The best we can do is make a note that you thought they brought out ringers"

Rosters are frozen. You can not add players (even for one night) to your game day rosters. We do have a spare goalie list on the local website www.calgaryhna.homestead.com
Any team found using non-roster players (goalies are exempt) will forfeit the game. At any point during a game, an official can request proof of ID on a player.

Realistically, it should have been about 20-2 but their goalie stood on his head.

I ended up tending the pipes. 2 shots in the first. It was great. Should have brought a book to read.

We also play the Saints on Aug. 17. Those two games are crucial to placing first. However, Saints play the last team in the division next, so expect them to be 3pts up after they play their game-in-hand.

Well after that Punishers game I gave up on the integrity of that league. So now if we're short, I'll do what I have to do, and if the refs call me on it after saying they couldn't call the Punishers on it, I'll go all Joey on them.

I got my goalie skates sharpened for the first time since I can't remember. Also, if we need another sub after stray, Erik is available.
