Gordon and McPhail buy up scotch from other distillers and barrel it themselves. I spent probably an hour talking to one of the family sales reps at CSNs whisky night in November (which I highly recommend)
Their scotches are fantastic.

I don't know how long the sale is, but I bought a Glenfarclas 17 at Coop yesterday for $71.49. The scotch is basically like candy; its delicious and I prefer it to their 21. Anyway, for $71, its a great deal if you can get one!

Glenfarclas is a decent Scotch which doesn't get much love from the single malt tasters' crowd. I don't quite get the reasons for this lack of love. It is not on my list of favourites but I don't mind it at all. I do prefer 21 to 17 though. But for $71 - a 17-yr old smooth single malt is a steal.

Well the 21yr is good, but I find the 17yr a little more sweet or something. I don't know exactly, but the 17yr old is like a candy apple and just so good. As soon as I saw it on sale, I snapped it up. I don't need another bottle for sure, but it keeps!

Hmmm, I don't see it in their online flyers, I wonder if it's store specific?
Lagavulin 16 is (or was) on sale at Superstore for 85.98

I saw the Glenfarclas at Coop on 3rd and 16th ave NW. Not sure if it was the 17 though, I thought it was 15 but didn't look to close as I had just picked up a 15.

Willow Park sells them, as well as Kensington Wine Market.

London Drugs has them on for $5.99. Best price you will find anywhere. Anywhere.
I might have bought them out though.

I am enjoying the Crown Northern Harvest... Overrated at Best Whiskey, but for the price it's pretty damn good.

I received a Glenmorangie Tusail for Christmas and it is amazing. The classic flavors along with toffee and cinnamon giving it almost a hint of apple pie.
