Did anyone notice it was sunny and blue skies this morning for the first time in a while? Coincidence?

How did the Stars look in the third 5v5? Scoring on the PP is great and will keep them in games but they can't rely on that only.

I say let Dallas beat EDM at their own game. Imagine a sweep with Dallas getting 2-3 ppgs per game!

Whatever way is necessary lol. But did they look better 5v5 in the third? Didn't watch after the first two.

Incredible he has that many wins without a cup.

Part of me wants to see Dallas and Florida in the final and have it go to game 7, just so we can see the battle of the unbeaten coaches in game 7 - Deboer is currently 9-0 and Maurice is 6-0 in game 7's. That'd be a fun narrative.

But i'm hoping that Skinner plays some semblance of a decent few games, then when the Losers are up against it say down 3-2 in the series, he lays an absolute egg and it's entirely him and Nurse's fault they lose.

I've been called the pettiest fan by a few friends, but truly, my one joy if the Flames aren't making it, is to see the Coilers lose in absolute heartbreaking fashion. What causes the maximum amount of pain for the team and fans. It's why I cheered so hard when they lost last year in Game 7, albeit it was pretty darned close to me having to eat my hat.

As a Flames fan, all i want is maximum pain and suffering to the Losers and their fans.
Then you should want the Oilers to miss the playoffs or, failing that, exit in round one in embarrassing fashion. Imagine if the McDavid era in Edmonton had come and gone with nothing that could even creatively be construed as success.

I assure you Leafs fans are more hurt and frustrated than Oilers fans.

I shall state though, that I am always a fan of whoever is playing against the oilers.

I am originally a New Brunswicker that has lived rurally in B.C. for many years. For the record I do like the Canucks and though it probably appears contradictory and very unpleasant to most here that I've also expressed that I like the Flames. I have for many years.
I am generally a fan of hockey since early childhood.
I also happen to like CP forum a lot and read many conversations, hockey news and ongoing dialogue here. Pretty well on a daily basis for several years. I also enjoy reading the live commentary here, while watching Calgary games throughout the season. I've never followed any other hockey forums than CP.
Because I am also a fan of the Canucks, I rarely post here , as I don't feel like trolling. And the general hatred for most things Canucks here.

I have many good friends but not a single one that shares a love of hockey. So it's a complete solo adventure for me.
It's something I enjoy about CP ... passionate, informative of the hockey world in general, and often very opinionated. Does any NHL team/city have a forum anywhere as good as CP ?
Well um thank you for that unsolicited biography.

I'm glad you enjoy your time here.

LOL

Clear contact on Duchene, so no reason to comment an a 'phantom head snap'.

Also, the irony, considering that the Oilers are easily the most embellishing team in the league right now, is fabulously delicious!

The pathetically whiny takes that the series is over were bad enough, but those two posters both being completely unwilling to recognize and own those takes, speaks volumes.

Edmonton didn't have a shot in the final 5 minutes. Dallas scored a 5 on 5 goal and and 6 on 5 goal.

For whatever reason the HNIC broadcast showed an incomplete shot of the high stick with Kane's stick already on the way down. The complete replay was shown in the RSN highlights that the stick in fact hit im right in the face just as it looked from the other angle. It was a 100% by the book high sticking penalty that gets called every time.
