There is always a chance in a one off game, but the Lions have been neck and neck against two mediocre teams and in the past two years have shown they struggle with good teams, they should not be much of a concern for the Niners as long as SF shows up.

The 9ers worst game is not exactly a rare occurrence though. Happened 5 times in the regular season and happened again last night.
I'm not as sold on the 9ers defense being an elite defense as most people seem to be. The Lions can exploit it and force SF offense to keep pace with them. That puts pressure on Purdy's shoulders, and he's known to crack when the temperature gets turned up. Granted the SF run game should have a ton of success vs the Lions defense but nothing is ever a guarantee.
SF should be around a 1 TD favorite, but by no means a lock to win the game.
