I can't find CFL attendance anywhere this year. Anyone know the final number for this game?

Maier for the most part had a bunch of inexperienced receivers to throw to. Once Henry went down he really didn't have a go-to guy. Still, he engineered those 2 drives to force OT. He's a better QB than you're making him out to be.

Did he have some bad throws? Yes. But there's no need to panic. Over the course of the season he will show that he's a capable starter.
Some?

He was horrendous. He was missing guys by 5-10 feet, then you add in the decision to throw when things werent there, it was abysmal. 50% completion is no bueno at any level.

He has shown this since game 1.

No excuses for his performace thus far.

It's crazy how much we have soured on Jake but he just isn't good.

I have faith in Dave and Huff but so far Jake doesn't have it.

The amount of times on 1st down they ran was so predictable yesterday. We didn't really go to action passing either and at this point I thinks Stevens with his legs gives us the best chance to win.

Ooof.

Thats as bad a decision to throw a ball as you will see.

Elks leading by 7....havent won at home in 18 games.

Only cheer for Argos in this type of situation.

Need an answer.

Not a great start to quarter three for the Elks - They tried a pooch kick-off and it almost worked but the Argos did recover and took advantage of pretty good field position to score a TD. The Elks just had a punt blocked setting up the Argos deep in Elks territory.

Edit: The Argos score their second major of the 2nd half. It's looking to me like the Elks defense has given up, that was pretty easy.

I don't think he's a fraud because he can certainly coach up a defense to play some good football. That said, he's terrible at player-coach relations, he's too loyal to some guys and treats others quite shabbily in my opinion and right now, he's lost not only the room but the respect of his players.

Chris Jones is like Darryl Sutter in many ways.

What's going to happen first, Jones getting fired or Jones quitting on a team, again?

They're not on a massive losing streak though, just a home losing streak.

They have invested too much in Jones to fire him three games into the season. That said, every home loss is another nail in his coffin. I don't expect he lasts the full season unless things really turn around for the organization. His approach just doesn't work unless he has a HOF QB like Reilly to bail him out.

Seriously in the CFL you almost have to go out of your way to lose every home game over a 2+ season period with the east always being mediocre/bad. What Jones and his predecessors have accomplished is not easy to do in professional football.
