I have friends of various ethnicities and color whom I grew up with that widely acknowledge that the world was a much better place back then. We talk about it all the time over beers and social engagements. Was it perfect? Nope. But I would choose it any day over today.

I think we understand the pressure he is feeling, he was basically expected to walk in and take gaudreau's place. It doesn't mean he's doing bad.
