Our annual Prideraiser drive is up. As per usual we're donating to YYC Outlink for every goal scored by Cavalry in June.
Now, Cavalry don't score a lot of goals so we might have to pledge a lot of money this year. Already up to $40 and the campaign has only been live a few minutes.

Shameless plug, but I'm going to try to document the session this morning on our company IG account, as long as the Cavs are OK with it: https://www.instagram.com/concourse_mortgage_group

Looks like HFX and Cavalry have drawn all their matches so far.
So we can expect a nil-nil tie?

Yes. That, death, taxes, and Cavalry hail mary lob balls from the wings are the only things sure in life.

Pretty enjoyable morning. The pitch is looking MINT.
A lot of work on where and how to press properly, so that was clearly a focus. A lot of set piece work as well.
Fairly offensively focused, so there you go for all of you wanting more goals.
As a side note - not sure if it has been mentioned, but Shamit Shome was in a knee brace. Sounds not good from what I heard.

Goddam few things are more satisfying that a pristine looking pitch with bright white lines!

It's amazing how just in general since 2019, our guys just can't stay consistently healthy with this team. Maybe we're cursed.

Shome did his PCL a few weeks ago. He's gone for a while. Fisk is back though and Mason may or may not play tomorrow.

The pre-game email I just received says there's a Spruce Meadows event going on too so they expect the grounds to be busy. Hoping they've sorted out any parking problems.

His wife is a bit of celebrity in Germany. She was on a kind of "German Idol" show years ago and also represented Italy in the Eurovision Song Contest (she has Italian heritage).
When he moved back to Germany after his season here, he was getting into sports management. He was doing this while playing in the 4th tier of German soccer before his injury.

Wanderers have never scored at Spruce Meadows. So 0-0 draw it is.

My group and I have started doing this as well. Probably going to break out the BBQ for the May Long game if the weather is nice!

I would love for the tailgating scene to build over the years. Can't really advertise it much as you know Spruce Meadows will not be happy with people having fun the parking lot for free....
