I ran it 3 times just now, and the 3rd time had us win to get 3rd pick.

I just tried it too. Took 31 tries to get Flames up to 3rd.

The top 9 is locked in.

Detroit, Washington, Buffalo are standing between a 6% chance of a top 2 pick and Calgary at the moment. Need to outsuck 2 out of 3 of them.

Ottawa, Florida, Nashville, and the NYI are teams the Flames could potentially pass. In good news, 3/4 of these teams are pretty committed to playoffs. Nashville is an enigma, they sold big at the deadline but don’t seem to be falling out of the race.

Unfortunately the Flames do not really control their destiny here because they don’t play many of these teams. The Ottawa game is huge tonight and could really help Ottawa stay behind the Flames.

4 points away from a chance at Bedard now. Florida just ahead and they should be caught soon, but the other teams are showing that they know what they’re playing for now.

On the plus side, Calgary has the ROW tiebreaker against all the other teams in the race.

Maybe the wheels come off now? I get the sense this group doesn't have it in them to make a late season surge, they've been mostly giving it 100% in my view and the results are this.

Everyone on the roster just needs to join Kadri and check out. till April. Buffalo Ottawa Washington could pass us easy. St Louis less likely - but Vancouver has won 5 in a row so maybe they're a possibility.

Outside shot at 23rd-24th overall if losses really pile up and we get some help from those eastern teams. Even if you don't win a lottery a top 10 pick would be a great chance to find a new franchise player. Something this team desperately needs.
