Are you serious? C'mon we have a tied series that suggests your negitivity is just that and nothing more.

It's no longer an anomaly but rather the expected result.

Puck retrieval, hand eye skills and scoring from in close are his strengths. How is that not suited to the playoffs?

No idea why he doesn’t look more effective out there.

Flames fans have had to endure, by far, the worst hockey in these playoffs.

Salvage it with some goals and a comeback maybe?

Zero? Tkachuk had a breakaway and that didn't count?

Really? Down by a single goal. Shots even. Anyone known what the advanced stats say, because by the eye the teams are pretty even, with periods of domination by the Flames. There’s been a handful of poor passes and missed opportunities but this is far from the worst the flames have played. And it’s far from over.

I think Tkachuk just cares too much. He's in his own head

I should add, with all those stats showing how statistically impossible it is to have such low scoring hockey I still feel confident they'll win tonight for some reason.

Like honestly, a 1% shooting percentage is not sustainable. Even if Calgary can't score Dallas is going to put it in their own net soon enough.

The Dallas goal was a lucky bounce (off markstrom's glove, off Hanafin, and in). Flames just need to creating opportunities, the puck WILL go in. I feel like they have shied away from getting the puck to the net, along with themselves, not giving themselves enough opportunity for something good to happen.

I was at games 3 and 4.

Game 4 was awesome and exciting.

Lots of quality scoring chances.

It would be fascinating to hear what Sutter had to say between the periods. After he woke up.

Flames will have a big third. They need to get to the front of the net more. I expect good things here.

Obviously. Do you think we all aren't hoping they score a few this period?

But expecting them to score 2 or more, when they have scored one in the past 2 games at home, and only scored more than 2 one time in the first 4 games, doesn't seem likely.

The point is that so far they've shown no drive at home. Game 2, and game 5 are two of the worst hockey games I've ever watched.

Seems like they try to do too much at home... Wait too long, every shot blocked, etc..
