Switzerland played so well, really made it a tough game for Canada. Silver is nothing to be ashamed of in a tough field like that. I do think something was off with the team over the last 3 days. Seemed like the front end were not on the same page as Val and Kerri on a few crucial shots. Maybe I’m over analyzing but they did not seem as cohesive as we have seen from that team in the past.

I think it was also fatigue.

4 games in 3 days (Sat, Sun, Mon)
Then 2 on Tuesday, 2 on Wed, 2 on Thurs, 2 on Fri.
Got the bye to play 1 on Sat and then one today.

Swiss were impressive, lost their first game then won 13 in a row.

Commentators were saying that Schwaller's team was getting negative messages after beating Tirinzoni 2 of 3 to come to these Worlds, then it continued when they lost their first game. Although I am sad Canada lost, I am happy for Switzerland that they stuck it to the haters.
