Squire (marker). I know how to adjust bindings. They’re maxed and need remounting

Anyone hit Louise recently? Their snow report lists 12 lifts and 100+ runs open, but I know that can be deceiving. Any first hand accounts?

Was there two weeks back — some thinner spots in the usual places but honestly it was surprisingly good for an early season day.

Day 5 at Whistler so far and today was the best one yet. Had the whole Christmas crew and although we couldn’t see a damn thing, there was enough snow to let you ski blind.

Great day, now onto the juniors tomorrow, what a wonderful time.

I’ve skied Norquay a few times. Slowly opening a few more runs but they could use a good foot or two of natural snow. We haven’t really had a good snow dump this year yet. Looking forward to it though (in the mountains).

Epic (short) day today at Sun Peaks.
17 overnight and snowing all day. Blew off 10 runs in 2 hours, mostly untracked, lots of it deep!
Hill is in great shape right now.

I haven't been out yet. Was planning on spending a week doing Sunshine and Louise, but just came back to Calgary today instead of staying in the mountains. Conditions are fkn abysmal.

Sounds awesome. Sun Peaks is a hill I have been wanting to check out for a while now but I can never get around to planning a trip out there.

Did you ski both? Abysmal both on and off piste? Going over new years and don’t have much choice so gonna need to brave it. Was one even a little bit better than the other? Thanks.

So lucky to come back to RED for the holidays. 36 cm last two days. 139 cm in last two weeks and another massive storm tonight. So much snow! If you have never been put it on you Skiing bucket list!

Wow.

Whitewater in that area is another one to add to bucket lists. Insane amounts of snow.

Looks good at both hills , I have 10 years at whitewater and 5 at red, last 2 years kinda sucked, so of course I didn't buy a pass lol

I live between the 2

I was at Nakiska about a week ago and it's almost criminal that they are charging full price. Not even half of the hill is open and some of half of the open runs are in terrible shape. Worst year for conditions that I've ever seen and I'm guessing it's similar for any "day trip" places from Calgary.

Fack, in Canmore for three days of skiing. Dreading what I’m about to pay for mediocre conditions and large crowds but my boys are 17 and 15 so the clock is ticking in this stuff. Will make the most of it.

Skied Fernie today. Visibility was crap. Is it always foggy here? Many people stayed in the lodge drinking.

Norquay is the same. They need 2 feet to cover everything.

Was at Fernie yesterday, I have never seen it that foggy. But boy, up top early on, there was some epic powder!

Kicking Horse wasn't great in my opinion, hadn't been there before and we spent 2 days there before packing up for Fernie. Even with the fog, it was much better than Kicking Horse, they have hardly any snow. And like 3 lifts?? Wasn't a fan.

Just finished day 1 at sunshine, it was better and worse than I expected. Where you could find snow it was a pretty decent consistency and not super icy, you could find some decent off piste stuff with only twigs mostly but there were rocks waiting for you at every turn of you weren’t looking, Goats eye cat track is like skiing on a back alley there’s that many rocks on it. They need snow, bad, but it was skiable I guess. We still had fun, had some laughs, and that’s what it’s about.
