Hate seeing the oilers make a pick I actually like

Luckily it took them until the fourth to do it

Coyotes still haven’t picked. Good work Chayka

I feel the same but 1 round later. After the 4th

The other guy I want now since he's still available Brett Berard.

Super young for this draft, great numbers for the USHL and NDTP, and could really be a Gaudreau lite.

Honestly kind of shocked how many guys with great production are still left. I know production isn't everything but generally it's the best predictor of future success.

Pashin, Chromiak, Berard, Nybeck, Ovchinnikov, Tullio, etc are all still available. Lots of really high reward talent available still. If I am BT I'm seeing if I can add more picks right now.

I'm a little surprised that the WHL's leader in defenseman scoring hasn't been picked yet.

Ranked #79 by central scouting and #89 by FC

What gives?

He's not small, he can skate well....

William Villeneuve led the Q in defense scoring and is still available as well I believe.
Has size and is a strong two-way player. Poirier's D partner.

I wonder what it is.

Figured maybe like Derek Ryan or something along the lines.

I know we have cap space but not enough to really make a splash.

Not sure what is more painful the Oscars or the slow pace of this year's draft.

LA takes Alex Laferriere in the 3rd round.
Seems like a bit of a Alexis Lafreniere knock-off...

Neither.

The Presidential debates.

Hands down.

Yeah, rounds 2-7 seem to go a lot faster when they're all in the same room.

I feel like Cotton is very comparable to Poirier. Tons of points, great at scoring, but still needs to figure out their defensive game. Don't forget, Cotton is an overager for this draft, so that doesn't help his case. I'm sure he'll go somewhere here soon.

Kings draft Juho Markkanen, son of former-Oiler Jussi Rebounds.

He's listed at 6'2" 146lbs. At that size, he could hide behind his goal posts.

Well they must be certain they have their future 1C in Zary if they're drafting all dmen with the 2nd and 3rds.

Classic Flames. Throw a one or two darts at C/their biggest need and figure that's enough.

don't get takes like this at all. We didn't draft a single defenseman last season, it just makes a ton of sense to re-stock the cupboards there this year.

Carolina takes Nybeck

Jarvis, Gunler, Nybeck really adds more skill to their forward prospects up front.

The Canucks drafted the best porn name in the draft.
