And goalies need a proper warmup. He wouldn’t have had a starters warmup pre game, and pregame was 2h before the start of the 3rd.

The Flames don’t seem that bad tonight. Fleury vs Rittich is the difference.

I defended Rittich t the second intermission but I agree. We lost the goaltending duel tonight.
No big deal. Won’t be the last time it happens. Shake it off and get the win in San Jose tomorrow.

First ten minutes was bad.
The they looked better.
Rittich made a couple big saves but then oh well.

Even though the season-altering call on Eakin in the playoffs last year was the worst call ever, couldn’t have happened to a more deserving team. #### this entitled Vegas team.

Frolik, for crying out loud. The play was under control, there was no need to panic like that.

Oh yeah we are just doing fine arent we?
We got embarrased last year in the playoffs and done absolutely nothing to improve. In fact we may be worse.
Also ironic that once Peter's left Carolina they became a better team

Hahaha wow Frolik. Not only was that a clear interference, but clearly Gio made it to that puck so you didn’t need to take it.

5-5-1 start, including some incredibly frustrating losses against VAN, STL, NSH, MTL, and getting embarrassed by PIT.
2nd PP unit didn't score a goal until Game 20 either.

I realize they tried and failed to get kadri but damn man what was plan frigin b?
What message does that send when the names of the playersyou were willing to kick to the curb, were made public, and are still here.
This craptastic start by Jankowski is just as much on treliving as it is on the young player.
If this team has a large regression, this offseason should be enough to fire treliving. I have no idea why they extended him at the end of such a garbage offseason by a gm.
|
Such a simplistic and narrow way to evaluate a gm
Takes two to tango. You want him to just magically produce trades that improve the team, while managing cap, and also being a fit for the other team
Firing him would be absurd. Thankfully the club is taking a more complete and longer term view
And yes it isn’t unusual for a team that succeeded in the regular season but suffered a playoff loss to bring back mostly the same team
Heck the lightning did it too

Bennett benched for the first half of the game, and now Mangiapane benched for the second half. These are the guys that should be building some chemistry and flow out there, but I'm not sure what Peters is doing. Neither one has made any horrible mistakes out there, but Frolik is bounced back up to the second line after one of the worst games of his career.

Frolik needs some pressbox time. Not just one game either. Tell his agent he can sit in the box with him if he wants.
