This season has been pretty good I thought, more Dallas than Sons of Anarchy which I really like. The Alberta shout out was neat to.

I don't think there is a dedicated thread. I have been enjoying this season so far. I am still struggling to give a #### about Jimmy but this week was pretty funny.

Everything about Jimmy and the 6666 ranch looks awful and I can't imagine anyone being excited to watch it. It feels so forced and reminds me of tricks of old 90s network shows trying to sell their spin offs.

I actually hate the character....we get it so edgy

OMG she drinks and smokes and takes no guff, what an amazing businesswomen

seems so forced and lame to me, actually this season kinda sucks TBH

Wow, Taylor Sheridan (the writer of Yellowstone) just bought the 6666 Ranch for almost $350M. I didn't think TV writers can make THIS much money.

That was pretty weak. I mean, I think I can tolerate one more season but if it goes past that I'll be waiting for the whole thing to drop and potentially doing the old fast forward watch.

First episode was awesome and it's gone downhill from there. IMO, it's because of the focus on Beth. Her "edginess" seems so forced and over the top right now.

Beth is the easiest character to process. Single dimension: miserable and make everyone else miserable. She's the least appealing character to me for this reason alone, but we also have Kelly Reilly doing the only thing she can with a character written that way: go over the top with it. I've never understood the appeal of these kinds of characters, but because she swears, drinks, and speaks her mind she's popular.

It's the common response whenever I ask anyone why they like Donald Trump so much. "At least he speaks his mind and says whatever he wants". Sure, but most of it is dumb and he's just showing off how big of an ####### he can be just for the sake of it. Beth Dutton.

Not a big surprise to see that same group co-opt the Beth character or constantly say "take them to the train station" regarding any politician or health group. Sorry if you're reading this and you happen to like her, but to me she's a simple character digested by simple minds.

Otherwise, Yellowstone is currently my guilty pleasure.

I think 1883 is better than Yellowstone. I don’t want to subscribe to Paramount so don’t know if it’ll be available to us. We have Prime.

I'm starting to hit that point where I'm not sure how much longer I can keep watching though. As said above Beth is so over the top now that I just roll my eyes every scene she is in. I never understand how show writers don't realize when a once an interesting character has turned very unlikeable. The entire season just felt like a waste as the storylines didn't go anywhere and the ending was beyond dumb.

Beth records Jamie dumping his dad's body at the train station and thinks she owns him? Does she not realize how many bodies of ex-ranch employees and enemies are down there the police will find when they investigate? Does she not realize that Jamie knows enough to take the entire family down and burn it all to the ground? The best thing they could have done in that scene is to have Jamie laugh and ask her for a hand.
