He's made a couple good saves but three saveable goals have beat him. Not good enough for a back up.

Looked to me like the Flames ran out of gas. Big push to start, little push after they fell behind, nothing left in th third.

I don't know what you expect out of a backup aside from being another starter then, which is hard to have two of on your team.
